13 Days Discover Tanzania’s Iconic Zanzibar and Serengeti

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Arusha for an overnight stay. Rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge for the night.

Day 3: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater
Embark on a morning game drive in Tarangire before continuing to Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive at your lodge on the crater’s rim for stunning views, and relax for the evening.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of wildlife exploration. The crater’s dense population of animals offers incredible viewing opportunities, from lions to rhinos. Return to the lodge for a restful evening.

Day 5: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park
Depart for Serengeti National Park, a world-renowned wildlife haven. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the endless savannahs before settling into your camp or lodge for the night.

Day 6-8: Serengeti National Park
Spend three days exploring Serengeti’s vast landscape, home to the Great Migration and diverse wildlife. Enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives, witnessing lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. You may also experience a hot air balloon ride for breathtaking views of the Serengeti.

Day 9: Serengeti to Zanzibar
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your beach resort for a relaxing evening by the Indian Ocean.

Day 10-12: Zanzibar Exploration
Enjoy three days in Zanzibar, exploring the island’s rich history and stunning beaches. Visit Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and discover its narrow alleys, bustling markets, and historical landmarks. Relax on the white sandy beaches or indulge in water activities like snorkeling, diving, and dhow cruises.

Day 13: Departure from Zanzibar
On your final day, enjoy a last dip in the ocean or a leisurely morning at the resort before your transfer to the Zanzibar Airport for your return flight.
